Civic Quarter 2 (CQ2) is the corner stone of the Civic Quarter precinct, offering A-Grade accommodation with the highest environmental credentials, including targeting a 5 star NABERS Energy Base Building rating. CQ2’s completion in late 2022 has delivered 33,000sqm NLA with typical floor plates of 3000sqm that support flexible working patterns through connected technologies and collaboration.
As well as fronting Northbourne Avenue and Cooyong Street, the development included four ground-level retail tenancies and significant upgrades along Mort Street to create a high quality, pedestrian-focused public realm; it also included the retention of existing mature street trees, additional planting and new seating areas.
CQ1 was the first building in the CQ precinct and having been completed in late 2019, it is already home to some of the nation’s most premium corporate tenants, such as Datacom Australia, Westpac and St.George, Colliers, Indesco, CyberCX and more.
CQ2 has recently been awarded the winner of ‘Commercial Building over $100M’ in the 2023 Master Builders and Asset Construction Hire Excellence Awards.
